Netflix has thousands of movies and T.V shows to watch and with frequent use, the suggestions can be extremely accurate. Netflix gives you suggestions based on the tv shows or movies you have watched. However, sometimes it may seem like there is “nothing to watch.”
The majority of the students here at APB spend their free time watching Netflix. Some students spend two hours watching netflix, while others watch it the entire night and “binge watch.”
Several students shared their personal favorite movies and TV shows on Netflix and their recommendations.
Best friends, David Rios and Frank Rosales, agreed to share what they watch on their free time on Netflix.
“Some of my favorite shows and movies on Netflix are Batman, Gotham, and The Flash,” said David. “Gotham is about corrupt cops and a corrupt city.”
“Some of my favorites are Narcos and The Longest Yard,” said Frank. “Narcos, is about Pablo Escobar from Columbia.”
David prefers Action movies and TV shows, while Frank prefers Drama.
Furthermore, Dasie Gervacio, a sophomore at APB, recommends APB students to watch Reign, a historical fantasy romance about a queen and her journey through her reign with her husband,ruling all of France and Scotland.
Melissa Roselman, current Chemistry and AP Chemistry teacher at APB, said her favorite things to watch are nature documentaries.
“I wish they had the updated season of The Walking Dead and I wish they had older movies”, said Roselman.
Moreover, Karina Gonzalez, a junior at APB, recommends students who enjoy Comedy and Romance to watch New Girl, a show about a girl who moves into an apartment with three male roommates.
Esmeralda Gonzalez, a sophomore, recommends American Horror Story, The Walking Dead and Halloween to students who prefer a good scare.
APB students seem to be greatly diverse in their movie and show preferences. If Comedy, Horror, Romance or Documentaries interest you, make sure you check out the recommendations that fellow students have given you!
