Mother leaves children in the car for an Intreview

Mother leaves children in the car for an Intreview

On Thursday March 20th around 12:30pm, a 35 year old women was arrested for leaving her two year old son and a six month year old baby in the car on a hot day. Shanesha Taylor  left the infants in the parking lot to leave for a job interview in Scottsdale, Arizona.  After a witness heard the cries of the baby she called the Scottsdale firefighters to rescue them. Apparently the car was above 100 degrees with no air conditioner and the windows only about an inch open. After 45 minutes the mother arrived to the car and was arrested on the spot for child abuse. When she got arrested she tried to explain that she had no babysitter for her children and currently had no home, so she needed the job. The children are currently in the custody of the CPS and the CPS might take the custody away from the mother permanently.

In Taylor’s mug shot she appeared crying and the picture went viral. When Amanda Bishop, a 24 year old women,  from New Jersey saw the picture she created a website in youcaring.com to help raise money for the attorney with a goal of $9,000, but passed $100,000 on Thursday April 10th. The website has received a lot of  critics for supporting the women. Taylor was plead not guilty of child abuse. Critics are concerned that releasing the mother the court will not feel that they are protecting the children. Some people are concerned since the lives of the children were put to danger by being in the car for a long time. But the fate of the children has not been determined.  Until then Joyce Vogt, the vice president of the communication is in charge of all communications with Taylor,a pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 22.
