Rixton, a PoP/R&B four member boy band from Manchester England have, according to the telegraph, topped the charts with their debut single “Me and My Broken Heart”. This song is now at more than 36 million views.

The Band Rixton started off with Jake Roche who at age 16 decided to drop out of school so that he can pursue his dream of making music teaming up with Danny Wilkin who also left university for the same reasons as Jake, they have both then started playing covers in bars at Manchester. Three years after writing and going out playing covers, they met Charley Bagnall becoming their lead guitarist. A year later after writing songs together they met Lewi Morgan through mutual friends and asked him to join as their drummer. Once the band was completed they started posting up song covers on youtube like “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Speakerphone”, these and other covers then caught the attention of the music manager Scooter Braun.
