This past Sunday October 30th the brotherhood and sisterhood went to a field trip to Oliver street. They went their to learn about Mexican Culture and saw many artifacts about “Dia de Los Muertos.” meaning Day of the dead.                                            

On this trip Mr. Sandoval and Mr. Ramos went with the boys to celebrate halloween.

“Pretty interesting we had bond with a lot of people that I did not think they had similarities with me and actually are a building a brotherhood between all grade levels.”(Josue Perez,Senior)

The brotherhood and Sisterhood had a great time in this field trip. They got to enjoy the events that occurred that day where there are dances and the various of foods.

“We want to create a group of boys where they will feel comfortable and tell us how they feel.”(Mr.Ramos)

Mr. Ramos and Mr. Sandoval planned this since the beginning of the school year to lecture young men. They were able to relate since they are both professional latino men at APB that wanted to change boys for the better and help them progress academically. But not only to help them academically they wanted to change the way men usually behave superior to woman and involves violence. Through the meetings brotherhood has they have made boys get along and open up.
