The Australian band Sheppard has started off as a duo back in 2009 with George Sheppard and one of his sisters, Amy Sheppard, where she would provide vocals and George would be lead vocals and on the piano. In 2011, Jason Bovino who is a friend of George Sheppard from Sydney, Australia  had then joined the band as one of the songwriters and rhythm guitarist. By 2012, Michael Butler and Emma Sheppard have joined the band being Michael as lead guitarist, Emma on bass and backing vocals and in 2013 Dean Gordon joined to be on drums. In 2014, their second single “Geronimo” was released in February and then later in July their album Bombs Away was then released. The album is filled with catchy songs and happy tunes. The band has multiple songs with the catchy and happy tune such as “Hold my tongue” and “Shine my way”.

Senior from Animo Pat Brown had said, “This is the type of music you’d gossip around to” and “this could be the new One Direction”, this student felt like this is a band he’d listen to and says that he can compare them to the band of One Direction.
