Lorde’s Newest album: Pure heroine features the song “Team”

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Conner better known as Lorde has released her newest song that many have not heard of is “Team”. This song features similar characteristics as the well known song “Royals” . A similar characteristic include the beat. However the lyrics have  a different meaning according to several critics the meaning behind the song is about her early years growing up in New Zealand. The meaning behind the song can be summed up in the lyrics:

“We live in cities you’ll never see on screen
Not very pretty but we sure know how to run free
Livin’ in ruins of the palace within my dreams
And you know we’re on each other’s team”
