The school carnival this year was one of the most memorable events I’ve experienced during my time here. The campus was filled with music, laughter, and the kind of energy that only comes when everyone comes together to celebrate. From the colorful booths and exciting games to the delicious food and spontaneous moments with friends, it felt like the perfect way to enjoy one of our final days as students. I found myself taking in every moment the smiles, the inside jokes, and the feeling of being part of something so familiar and special. As I walked around, it really hit me that graduation is just 12 days away. That number suddenly feels very real. Only this week of walking these halls, sitting in classrooms that once felt endless, and being surrounded by people who have been such a big part of my life. It’s a strange mix of emotions, excitement for what’s next, but also a deep sadness knowing that this chapter is coming to a close. What I’ll miss the most aren’t just the big events like the carnival, but the little everyday things like laughing with friends in between classes, sharing stories at lunch, staying late after school just to hang out a little longer. These moments, as simple as they seem, are the ones that have shaped my high school experience and made it so meaningful. The carnival felt like a celebration of everything we’ve been through together: the ups and downs, the growth, and the memories we’ve made. As graduation approaches I will forever remember these moments.
To celebrate the end of the school year, students gathered for one last fun activity at the school carnival and one of the highlights was getting their faces painted by the ARC team! Whether it was colorful butterflies, fierce tigers, or glittery designs, there was something for everyone. Laughter, smiles, and creativity filled the air as students lined up with friends, excited to see their transformations. The face painting station quickly became a favorite, bringing out the playful spirit in students of all ages. It was the perfect way to wrap up the school year full of color, fun, and unforgettable memories.
At the school carnival, one of the funniest things was the “Pie a Student in the Face” booth. For just one dollar , you could launch a whipped cream pie straight into the face of a student volunteer. Students lined up to Pie a student or their friends, classmates, and even a few brave teachers who joined in on the fun. Everyone around was laughing, cheering, and taking videos. The whole area was filled with energy and whipped cream. It wasn’t just hilarious it was also a creative way to raise money for the school.
The school carnival was packed with energy and excitement, especially around the lunch area, which was transformed into a fun zone filled with games and activities! Everywhere you looked, there was something fun to do from classic games like pop the balloon to ring toss, bean bag throws, and more. Everyone was laughing, having fun, and enjoying the carnival vibe. It was the perfect mix of games, prizes, and pure school spirit!

The smell of tacos, hot dogs and sizzling pupusas filled the air as our family huddled around our colorful booth at the school carnival, laughter and chatter blending with the festive music playing in the background. It was more than just selling food; it was about coming together, sharing traditions, and making memories. It wasn’t just a fundraiser; it was a celebration of family, food, and fun.
