”We kept stopping them on defense and we started putting drives together. We had a good drive there at the end of the third quarter and we got our confidence back,” stated Bo Nix, Broncos quarterback, after the game to a CBS Sports interviewer.
Late in the third quarter, Surtain II knocked the ball out of A.J. Brown’s hands forced the Eagles to turnover the ball which led to the Broncos scoring early into the fourth quarter with a run by Dobbins.
”We got to go back and really learn from this, take ownership for the things that we can control, look into our process and our system and see what needs to be reset and what doesn’t need to be reset and continue to press forward,” said Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts in a press conference after the loss.
The score in the first quarter was tied at 3-3 but Jalen Hurts made a two yard pass to the tight end Dallas Goedert to take the lead going into halftime.
Although Bo Nix gave all the praise to his defense, he was their best player overall finishing with 242 passing yards and 22 rushing yards to help his team come out with the victory in the end.
