What started as a short (small clip) became one of the most popular shows of the 21st century. The Simpsons created by Matt Groening  has been around since December 17,1989 so this December will be 24 years since it was aired for the first time. For those who do not know what the show is about it is about a family of 5 who have crazy adventures and they show us that family is the most important thing you have. The people from the family include Homer , Marge, Bart, Lisa and the smallest Maggie Simpson. Although Homer is the father is  the goofiest of them all but he shows how you have to take care of your family and you will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. The show does not only include this family but the whole town of Springfield filled with people of many personalities. After a long time of  the show being really successful it is now getting to its 26th season. it has become the longest running animated sitcom. Over the years it has gained a lot of popularity that has led to its huge success.
