As the school year ends, students are anxious for summer to start. Their are so many great and different things to do over summer break. Students can do a variety of different things at a low cost.

BEACH DAY – The beach is a perfect place to enjoy during the summer break.  Its an easy, fun, and affordable way to spend a hot summer’s day. Another great idea is a bonfire.

WATER PARK – Another great idea for the summer is a theme park. Hurricane Harbor’s opening day this year is the 27th of May. The parks hours are generally from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.

SUMMER JOB- Summer vacation is the perfect time to find a part time job. Many places such as fast food places

and clothing stores hire students as seasonal workers.

BOWLING- Gage Bowling is a bowling alley near us. The bowling alley is open 24 hours and is a cheap and fun activity to do during a summer day. To rent a lane is $15.00 and the price to rent the shoes is about $2.75. Up to six people can play per lane decreasing the price of a lane making the bowling alley a cheap and fun option.

HIKING- Hiking is an exceptional way to spend the day. Hiking is a great way to enjoy nature. The Griffith observatory is a great hiking trail near us.
