The Animo Monarchs volleyball team played and walked away victoriously from their second game on Friday, September 23.
Juniors, Cristina Amaya and Cassandra Carillo represent the Animo Volleyball team.
At the beginning of the game the girls were both confident and somewhat nervous.
Christina describes the game as “intense” because their opponents were competitive and it was an off and on game.
The Marlot team won two sets, however the Monarchs did not stay behind and won by winning the next three sets.
“We all trusted each other and communicated,” Cassandra said. The bond between the girls definitely has an impact on the games because they are comfortable with one another and know they have each others full support.
Although the girls count on each other for support, their peers also contribute to their confidence.
The girls felt they had support from their fellow classmates.
Overall both Cristina and Cassandra felt the game went well and like the rest of their team, they were happy because they won due to their hard work and good teamwork.
