Have you ever been a victim of cyber crime? Cyber crime can be defined as criminal activity being carried out by means of electronic technology such as computers, phones, etc. According to Symantec, the U.S had the most data breaches than any other country in 2016, and 76% of electronic consumers acknowledge the importance of keeping their account information secure, yet they still share their passwords. “Have a password that is hard to guess” says Ms. Edelman. “Only visit sites that you trust and know are safe and don’t click on any suspicious looking ads.” According to a recent survey by Thycotic, 50% of people haven’t changed their social network (account) passwords for a year or more and 20% have never changed it at all.
