Riot: “You’d rather hear me say “fuck black prejudice!” ”Let’s murder different races, grow hatred, and from irrelevant” In this song X convey a message of him say he wants to do what he wants, rather than standing up for other causes people want from him. He explains this by talking to the view by using the word you and explaining how his african american fan base would rather him bash on racism rather than him expressing what he wants to talk about.

The remedy for a broken heart: “I’m sadder than most of y’all with the money and the freedom, ni***, What is money really worth if it ain’t love? I’ma find a perfect balance, it’s gon’t take time” This whole album was express trying to convey a feeling whether it’d be hope, sadness, rage, or other feelings. In this song he tries to give off a sense of security by saying that he will find a balance between money and love and he insinuates that by finding that balance all this problems will be solved.

Sad!: “Suicide if you ever try to let go, uh, I’m sad and low yeah,I’m sad and low yeah.” In this song he rapped about his relationship with his ex girlfriend Geneva Ayala who he allegedly abused. He sings about how happy he is when he is with her, but feels pained or sadness every time she leaves, as he is then alone again.

Infinity 888: In this song X features Joey Ba$$ on the track and steals the show. Joey is known for his grimey New York flow and this track lets him showcase his skills. There is a specific line that crosses many people’s head and that is: “Spend years at the crib so I don’t feel the pain no more I don’t feel no more, I gotta get it how I live.” This gives insight to the lives of many people living in a dangerous neighborhood. It shows how violence and criminal activity is very common to a point where you can’t feel the pain anymore, but rather you become numb to your surrounding and you embrace it.  This later turns into a mentality in where you believe that there is no other way to survive so you become more lenient into participating in that type of activity. But X also had a line that stood above the rest in his verse. That’s when he said,”I spit the pain, that’s why the young niggas feel the same” The reason this stoop out was not because it was brilliantly written but because it reflect on the pain he put on his tracks and how he did it for the younger generation. He almost saw himself as a father figure by his use of the word “young.”

Jocelyn Flores: In the song XXXTentacion sings about how he felt after receiving suicide letters from a friend named Jocelyn Flores. “I’ve been trapped in my mind, girl, just holding on I don’t wanna pretend we’re something, we’re nothin, I’ve been stuck thinking ’bout her, I can’t hold on (I’ll be feeling)”. Jocelyn Flores suffered from depression and committed suicide on May 2017. XXXTentacion said he felt powerless because he didn’t help her and was also dealing with depression.
