The senior package are events that are put all together in a plan for all the seniors. Every month there’s a day you need to pay for the senior package, or they will be a $5 dollar fee if you miss the due date. Many seniors are reacting differently about the senior package by being overpriced.

“I believe the senior package is cheap but I’m not willing to buy anything and continue the $5 dollar fee because I’m not interested in any of the senior activities or events,” said Adela Rosal.

Many seniors are having different opinions about the senior package being $640 and with a $5 fee.

“I was very excited that, like, there were lots of discounts and stuff that applied to us instead of individuals,” said Mars Guzmaz.

Some students receive a discount for prom or Grad Nite depending on the student performance on the test. Students were given the choice of getting prom or grad night at a discount.

Students earned this with the SBAC that they took in junior year. If they scored higher than they did on one of their middle schools SBAC, then they get a discount on prom or granite. But if students scored better than both of their middle school SBACS, then they get prom and grad night covered for free.

“I didn’t receive any discounts and it’s affecting my senior package means I’m going to have to spend more money,” said Obed.

Although it might be too late this year, students have some ideas on how to improve the senior package for the next group of seniors.

“Have different packets for people that don’t want everything and still get a good deal without having to buy everything,” said Obed Hernandez.

Although many students are still buying the senior package the Seniors have mentioned the high price made their decision to purchase the package difficult.
