On May 29th 2026, Animo Pat Brown had their annual Carnival day for students and parents to attend. This carnival contains a series of inflatable and stand games for students to play and earn points. These points were redeemable for a prize at the stand where you could trade in points. The carnival contained music, food, games, face painting, and more. It was a huge event for students and family to enjoy. This was a last moment to enjoy time with friends before the end of the school year.
Students were spending time with close friends during the carnival. This was an event where you could walk around and participate in fun activities. The carnival brings people closer every year and it is a memorable event for everyone. Students in leadership also had to take turns in taking over a carnival game as a grade. These students took on a huge task!
During the carnival, students were given the opportunity to pie-a-student. This was very exciting and funny for students. The price was $1 to throw from far away and the other choice was $5 to smear all over their face from a closer distance. Those who participated to get pied in the face received a free hot dog in reward for volunteering. It was such a funny moment to see and experience as well as raise money.
Many games contained basketball but this game had 3 in 1. Students got the choice whether to play baseball, basketball, or football. All these games were very fun and competitive. These points were tracked on a paper students get to redeem at the end. It was a very creative style for games and also varied in basketball. Around 3 inflatables of basketball games? Basketball tic-tac-toe and 2 other basketball games. Also included 3 soccer inflatables!
Other games at the carnival contained small wooden games. These stands were usually 1-2 players as a competition in order to have a wide variety of games. Many students and staff would help out with these stands and switched shifts. These games contained a larger variety as they had plinko, ring toss, pop the balloon, and more! These were very fun to see friends play or even play for yourself with close friends.
Teachers and staff reunited during the carnival and also had a good time with each other while hosting games. Overall the carnival was super big and fun this year for APB celebrating the end of the school year with staff, students, and friends.
