Many students from different schools begin to study excessively before AP testing season, as it takes place in early May for around two weeks with a variety of subjects that have exams at different days and times.
AP testing has put many students through stress as well as satisfaction and proudness as they are very rigorous classes that take a lot of dedication to prepare for the big exams in May.
Students like Melissa Garcia and Ronaldo Rosas have shared their experience of taking many AP tests over their years in high school.
“AP testing for me was stressful because although I didn’t feel much pressure to pass I still wanted to do well. I enjoyed completing my exams because the relief that comes with finishing them is the best!.” – Melissa G.
The word “Mix Feelings” has been used a lot through students that have taken AP tests. As Melissa said, the pressure of doing well gives you stress but the outcome of completing the test gives you that relief and satisfaction.
Moreover another student states, “I felt like AP testing was stressful when you’re preparing for it, but once you go and start the test it’s not so bad especially since most of the questions are easier than the ones you’ve done in practice test” -Ronaldo R.
Many students like Ronaldo have also gotten a sense of relief once attempting the exam as many teachers tend to prepare students with harder work so the exam can feel much easier.
Ultimately, AP has been a rollercoaster for many students, but at the end each exam completed has shown each student their hard work and dedication they put to complete this exam, whether they believed they passed or not, attempting the test showed they still gave it their best shot.
