Travis Scott is an artist that has released 3 collaboration albums,2 mixtapes, and 4 studio albums. I will tell you about all of them because all of them expanded on his career and improved as time went on.The multiple all have different elements due to how experimental Travis Scott is. Travis Scott is an artist that had changed the genre trap due to how different he was making his music which is so interesting and someone even goes in depth to it but I won’t.
Travis Scott’s 2nd mixtape was released and it would come out with the name Days Before Rodeo and this album would be what lead up to one of his best being Rodeo but for DBR(Days Before Rodeo). It had such great sounds and would be improved upon when his debut album came but for a highlight would be “Drugs You Should Try It” This a very melodic sound and was something that he was still experimenting with and would say this a song that still holds. There are lots of others on this album that are really good would be “Skyfall”, “Zombies”, and “Mamachita”. But all the other songs are very unique and have such experimental noises that make the album really good. This album would lead on to the next being his debut album Rodeo.
The First album was released as well as what will change his career being the release of Rodeo. This album be the that best ages as well as it being better with time and looking at the album at the genre being Trap it was something new and this can be shown by the structure of the first which is the best example of it on the song pornography which was seen to be very different and something that made the music amusing due it not being repetitive and boring. This also could be shown other songs have beat changing and the music being stale which made it so great and different from the others that had made the genre before he had made this album.
The next album that will be released will also be a solo project being Bird in the trap sing mcknight/BITTSMK the album also would be Travis Scott’s favorite album out of the many he made. This album is most psychedelic. The sounds toned down aren’t as loud but just a vibe and there are some songs to go over this being something like guidance,coordinate,and through the late night These songs are much louder than the others and make the sound different not just straight psychedelic sounds. This whole album still is able to grow and have just get better overtime.
The most popular and commercially popular would be Astroworld This album was very popular due to how good the song Sicko Mode. The album would also be a masterpiece with so many songs and them not being the same and having progression. This has so many features that are very popular and really good you have such as Drake,Frank Ocean, Sheck Wes, Juice World, these are just a few that put into the album. Their is songs like “Stop Trying To Be God” was such a musical masterpiece having Stevie wonder with his Harmonica and the rest of it being instrumentally beautiful.
