As the year has begun ARC’s after school program has continued with its tradition of having a basketball team for Animo Pat Brown. The basketball program is available to every student at APB. The program helps kids with developing better skills at basketball. Eric is one of the two coaches that leads the basketball group for ARC. They prepare the kids to be able to communicate and be ready for the season. When asked about his opinion on the sport of basketball, Eric said “basketball is an international world sport which is physical, but limited. The sport can get very competitive.”

Coach Eric has set a goal this year to improve the students’ skills. He wants the kids to improve their skills because he says “we have plenty of games, but no team”. “People should be more dedicated and committed to coming to practice,” Eric said. Eric wants to make sure that the kids are mentally and physically prepared. “If you want to play basketball and get better, join us in arc we are located in room 30.”
